Cecilia
Godoy started
learning English at a very young age, in kindergarten,
at the bilingual school she attended in her hometown
Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has always loved English
and decided to build herself a future with it and
to develop her passion into a professional career.
At 21 she became Bachelor of Arts in English Translation
(English-Spanish < > Spanish-English) while
she taught at schools and private students.

then, she has worked for several translation agencies
and her own clients, as a senior translator, proofreader
and project manager and has taught in-company at big
corporations at the International Airport. At the
same time, she has kept improving, updating and developing
her EFL teaching skills through training courses and
experience. With a flair for communications and a
service-driven personality, Cecilia enjoys her work
serving as a link between people from different cultures
and languages, enabling them to use English to be
active participants of today’s globalized world. |

Maneerat
R. Layton
developed her educational profile with a bachelor
degree in Pharmacy, an MBA, a master degree in Pharmacy
Administration, and a PhD in Public Health, respectively.
Recently, as she is the course director for the Pharmacy
English course at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences,
Khon Kaen University, she decided to obtain a Certificate
in TEFL which she got an outstanding grade for the
qualification.

| Her
passion in learning English lends herself as a role
model for faculty including students. With a highly
motivated teaching style, Maneerat has inspired many
of her Thai students in her Pharmacy English class
to love and improve their English skills tremendously.
Besides teaching, she has also become an expert in
English-Thai and Thai-English translation with variety
of experiences include patient education brochures,
transcribed interviews, scientific reports, medical
questionnaires, and video scripts. Currently, she
is based in Khon Kaen City, Thailand. |
